INDIA: Henkel Spic India has merged with Henkel India Ltd (HIL). The move puts all manufacturing activities under the merged entity. The board of Henkel Spic India Ltd. also decided to route all marketing and distribution functions of the group’s products through Henkel Marketing India Ltd., formerly known as Detergents India Ltd. The split of operations puts manufacturing activities and brand ownership under one company with no change in the shareholding pattern, according to A.C. Muthiah, chairman of Henkel Spic India Ltd.
